The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) is a price-weighted average of 30 significant stocks traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the Nasdaq. The DJIA was designed to serve as a proxy for the broader U.S. economy. The S&P 500 index is designed to be a broad based unmanaged leading indicator of U.S. equities and is meant to reflect the risk/return characteristics of the large cap universe or representative of the equity market in general. As an investment adviser representative (“IAR”), I am a “fiduciary” to my advisory clients’ investments. This means that I have an obligation to act in the best interests of my clients and to provide investment advice in my clients’ best interests. I should avoid engaging in any activity that could create a conflict of interest with any client; however, if a conflict of interest does arise, I will make full disclosure of that conflict to my client. Advisory clients are charged a monthly fee for assets under management while insurance products pay a commission, which may result in a conflict of interest regarding compensation. In my capacity as an investment adviser representative (“IAR”) and as a licensed insurance agent, I may offer fixed life insurance products and receive normal and customary commissions. The client is under no obligation to purchase products through me on a commissionable basis. In addition, I may receive other compensation such as fixed or variable life trails. The potential for receipt of commissions and other compensation when acting as an insurance agent may give me an incentive to recommend insurance products based on the compensation received.

The Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) certification requires individuals to pass a rigorous exam and to uphold the highest ethical standards for the benefit and protection of the health and welfare of seniors. CSAs are multidisciplinary professionals who have demonstrated advanced knowledge in the multiple processes of aging.
